Chris Bell

Bio

Chris Bell is an American Democratic politician, journalist, and attorney who served in the U.S. House of Representatives for Texas’ 25th congressional district from 2003 to 2005. Prior to this, Bell served on the Houston City Council from 1997 to 2002. Most recently, Bell was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Texas in 2006, losing to Republican incumbent Rick Perry.
