Dean Barkley
Bio | Born in Minnesota, Barkley attended the University of Minnesota for undergrad and also received his J.D. He practiced law for some time as well as serving as president for a furniture company. After unsuccessfully running for the House of Representatives, Barkley worked as director for the Office of Strategic and Long Range Planning in Minnesota. He was appointed in 2002 to finish the term of Paul Wellstone who died in a plane crash. Barkley was incumbent in this position from 2002-2003. |
