Doc Hastings
Bio | Hastings was born in 1941 in Washington state and went on to attend college at Columbia Basin College and Central Washington State College. Although he did not graduate from these universities, he is still strongly admired by both. He served in teh United States Army Reserves from 1963-1969. Hastings was elected a member of the Washington State House of Representatives and remained incumbent in this position from 1979-1987. He later became a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1995-2015. During his time he served as chair of both the House Natural Resources Committee as well as the House Ethics Commitee. |
