Don Beyer

Bio | Beyer was born in Trieste, Italy. He graduated from Gonzaga High School as salutatorian of his class and went on to attend Williams College and Wellesley College. Beyer served as the Lieutenant Governor of Virginia from the years 1990-1998. From 2009-2013 he was the Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein under President Obama. As of July 2020, he remains incumbent as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Virginia’s 8th District. |
