Herman Talmadge
Bio | Herman Talmadge was an American Democratic politician and veteran of the U.S. Navy who served as a U.S. Senator for the state of Georgia from 1957 to 1981. Prior to this, Talmadge served as the 71st Governor of Georgia from 1947 to 1955. Talmadge passed away in March of 2002. |
