Bio | A fifth-generation Montanan – his mother’s ancestors settled in Fort Benton in the 1860s hauling freight off steamships on the Mississippi River – Greg Hertz was born and raised in Malta, attending local schools until college. Hertz graduated from the University of Montana with a BA in business before returning to his hometown and opening an accounting firm, which led to becoming controller of Moodys Market, Inc., where he eventually acceded to President and CEO, overseeing six grocery stores with 225 employees. |
