Christopher Cox

Bio

Charles Christopher Cox is an American Republican politician and businessman who served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for multiple districts in the state of California from 1989 to 2005. Cox has also served as the Chair of the House Republican Committee, Chair of the House Homeland Security Committee, and most recently as the 28th Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission under President George W. Bush.
