Dodd has a decorated history in American politics, having initially served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Connecticut’s 2nd congressional district from 1975 to 1981, followed by work with the Democratic National Committee, Senate Rules Committee, Senate Health Committee and Senate Banking Committee all during his time as senator. |
