David Durenberger
Bio | Durenberger was born and raised in Minnesota and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota in 1959. During his time as a college student, he participated in Army ROTC and later served in the United States Army and Army reserves. He worked for some time in a law firm before taking office in the United States Senate through a special election in 1978. He was re-elected multiple times following and remained incumbent as a United States Senator from Minnesota from 1978-1995. |
