David E. Bonior
Bio | Bonior was born in Michigan and grew up to attend the University of Iowa for his BA while also playing collegiate football. He received his MA from Chapman College. During the Vietnam War, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. From 1977-2003, he served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Michigan’s 10th and 12th Districts. He served as a whip at several different levels including House Democratic Chief Deputy Whip from 1987-1991, House Majority Whip from 1991-1995, and House Minority Whip from 1995-2002. |
