Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Bio | Born in Queens, New York, Wasserman earned her B.A. from the University of Florida with a focus in Political Science. In 1992, she was elected a member of the Florida House of Representatives and remained incumbent until 2000. That same year she transferred to the Florida Senate where she served until 2004. She successfully ran for the United States House of Representatives from Florida In 2005 and remains incumbent as of August 2020. During her time as a representative, she served as Chair of the Democratic National Committee from 2011-2015. |
