Bio | McDonough is the newly-appointed Secretary of Veterans Affairs under the Biden Administration. Previously, he has served as Chief of Staff of the National Security Council (2009-2010), Deputy National Security Advisor (2010-2013), and White House Chief of Staff during Obama’s second term in office. McDonough graduated from Saint John’s University with a Bachelor’s in history and Spanish and received a Master’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. |
