Earl Pomeroy
Bio | Pomeroy was born in North Dakota where he grew up to attend Valley City State University, North Dakota (where he also attended law school), and Durham University. He was a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives in the 1980s and eventually became the insurance commissioner of North Dakota. He was elected a member of the United States House of Representatives from North Dakota’s At-Large District in 1993 where he remained incumbent until 2011. |
