Bio | When Emma Kerr-Carpenter isn’t hiking or kitchen crafting, she is dedicating herself to families and young Americans as a Youth Case Manager and the Marketing and Education Coordinator – coordinating Youth Mental Health Aid courses across Montana, including instructor recruitment, training, and data gathering – for Youth Dynamics of Montana, a non-profit children’s mental health agency. A graduate of Boston University with a BA in Internation Relations and Affairs, Religion, Kerr-Carpenter has spent her career taking care of families and children at risk from home displacement and its consequences, as Family Support Specialist for the Family Support Network, and as a member of Forward Montana, Billings First Congregational Church, and Northern Plains Resource Council. |
