Gabrielle Giffords

Bio

Gabby Giffords is an American Democratic politician who served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Arizona’s 8th congressional district from 2007 to 2012. Giffords also served as a member of the Arizona Senate and in the Arizona House of Representatives. In 2011, Giffords survived an assassination attempt when leaving an event in Tucson, Arizona.
