Geraldine Ferraro

Bio | Geraldine Ferraro was an American Democratic politician and attorney who served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for New York’s 9th congressional district from 1979 to 1985. Ferraro also served as the Secretary of the House Democratic Caucus from 1981 to 1985 and spent time as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights from 1993 to 1996. Ferraro passed away in 2011. |
