Bio | Howard Berman is an American Democratic politician and attorney who served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for California’s 26th and 28th congressional districts from 1983 to 2013, acting as the Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee from 2008 to 2011. Prior to this, Berman spent nearly a decade in the California State Assembly, acting as the Majority Leader from 1974 to 1980. |
