Jim Jeffords
Bio | Jim Jeffords was an American Republican and Independent politician who served as a U.S. Senator from Vermont from 1989 to 2007. During his time in the Senate, Jeffords served as Chair of the Senate Environment Committee and as Chair of the Senate Health Committee. Prior to this, Jeffords represented Vermont’s at-large district in the House and served as the Attorney General of Vermont. Jeffords passed away in 2014. |
