Marco Rubio
Bio | Marco Rubio is an American Republican politician who currently serves as a U.S. Senator for the state of Florida, a position he has held since 2011. Prior to his time in the Senate, Rubio served as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 111th district from 2000 to 2008. Most notably, Rubio ran for the Republican nomination in the 2016 Presidential election. Rubio earned his BA from the University of Florida and went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. After graduation, Rubio began his political career and was elected city commissioner for West Miami. |
