Bio | Mazie Hirono is an American Democratic politician who currently serves as a U.S. Senator for the state of Hawaii, a position she has held since 2013. Prior to this, Hirono represented Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district in the House and served as the 9th Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii. Hirono also served in the Hawaii House of Representatives from 1981 to 1994. |
